Thames-Side Studios Viewing Room

Lenny Whybrow
Exhibition Dates: 1-16 December 2018
Preview: Friday 30 November 2018, 6.30-8.30pm

Lenny Whybrow presents new and recent large format works on canvas and silver gelatine paper. These works utilise both handmade and digital production methods which has been his working process since 2012.

After graduating from Bournemouth College of Art Whybrow pursued a fledgling career as a photographer in London and New York. A studio residency in Brooklyn became the catalyst for research and development of custom black and white darkroom techniques enabling a production of work as surreal allegories of light, shade and the metaphysical. To bring his endeavours to the fore Whybrow attended a Fine Art MA at the Sir John Cass School of Art, London in 2004.
